Crude oil prices plunged after OPEC+ members announced an agreement over production levels. Polyester chain prices were supported by strong demand for polyester fibers, however. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
