Featuring wavelength of 976 nm and max output of more than 60 W, SPL BF98-40-5 Laser Bar achieves brilliance of 3 W per millimeter and one mrad divergence angle at optical output of 44 W. Unit is 5 mm wide and consists of 5 emitters, each 100 µm wide with cavity length of 4 mm. Lateral divergence of beam emitted by SPL BF98-40-5 is between 6° at 30 W and approx. 9.5° at 60 W. With electro-optical efficiency of 65% at 44 W, laser bar minimizes level of cooling needed.
