Russian Liaison Support Officer ExoMars

For one of our main customers, the European Space Agency, you will be assigned to the ExoMars programme to support the international cooperation between ESA and Roscosmos. You will report to the Head of the ExoMars Project Control Section, who is responsible for project control and administrative functions and facilities necessary for the preparation and execution of the ExoMars 2016 Mission and 2018 Mission. Tasks and Responsibilities Typical duties for the Russian management and programmatic liaison support include Support the management of the Russian liaison for the ExoMars 2016 Mission and 2018 Mission Prepare translations of documentation to and from Russian to English and viceversa for ESA Provide technical realtime translation support for RussianEuropean project meetings, teleconferences and other adhoc communications Support regular visits to Russian facilities in order to develop the establishment of common approaches between Russian and European engineering teams for technical and programmatic work of the ExoMars missions Support and facilitate the drafting and approval of bilingual documents Provide minutes of meetings in bilingual form Facilitate action tracking, followup on action closure and provide relevant reports and statistics Prepare Minutes of Meetings, reports on site visits and prepare reports on the progress of the developing RussianEuropean cooperation Assist in the establishment of RussianEuropean technical and programmatic interfaces within the ExoMars programme and its various mission elements ground segment, spacecraft, payload, launcher, including supporting the establishment of the relevant interface documentation Participate in the establishment of baseline documents and plans in the frame of the RussianEuropean cooperation Assist in the identification of potential problem areas and proposing mitigation actions, preparing reports as required Assist in other activities as required within the domain of the ExoMars Project Russian interface administration Support the Head of the ExoMars Project Control Section in executing his duties. Experience and Education Experience is essential in RussianEuropean cooperation in the frame of technology development projects Applicants should have a good working background in RussianEuropean translation services and the ability to establishutilize advanced realtime translation techniques. Furthermore the applicant shall have fundamental understanding of contract and documentation management, risk and change management and other disciplines related to the tasks described above. Applicants are expected to demonstrate good organisation skills, the ability to synthesise information and a capability to work in a team environment Applicants must be willing to travel The post is located at one of the ExoMars Russian partners premises in the Moscow region.
