Piedmont Sewer Repair Project Update: April 13, 2016

Construction hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Below is the estimated construction schedule for the rest of this week and the next two weeks. Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock Sewer Repair Project: Design is underway

Environmental Services is designing a project to repair or replace approximately 5,600 feet, or about one mile, of public sewer pipes in the Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock neighborhoods. Most of the sewer pipes are over 85 years old and are deteriorating due to age. The project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.

Stephens Creek Outfalls Repair Project Update: April 11, 2016

Environmental Services is designing a project to repair three outfall pipes that carry stormwater runoff to Stephens Creek. The outfalls are deteriorated and contribute to erosion in Stephens Creek. The project will protect water quality and stream health, reduce erosion and rehabilitate riparian areas. The work will build upon previous projects along Stephens Creek, including habitat improvements at its confluence with the Willamette River.

Humboldt Sewer Repair Project - Update

Environmental Services has completed design of the Humboldt Sewer Repair Project which will replace or repair approximately 13,000 feet of public sewer pipes that are on average 90 years old and deteriorating due to age. This is the equivalent of 2.5 miles of sewer pipes. This project will improve public infrastructure, increase sewer capacity and protect public health, water quality and the environment.
