Sunrise raises FY adjusted EBITDA guidance after 13% growth in Q1

(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Sunrise has recorded Q1 revenues of CHF 447 million, down 2.6 percent from Q1 2018, because of lower hubbing and hardware sales. Service revenue increased by 2.7 percent, driven by customer momentum and B2B. Adjusted EBITDA including IFRS 16 was up by 13.2 percent to CHF 158 million. The total mobile subscriber base in Q1 reached nearly 2.37 million, with 13,000 net additions in Q1.

Altice France confirms FY EBITDA guidance after positive Q1

(Telecompaper) Altice Europe said that an improved performance at its French operations in the first quarter was proof that the group's operational turnaround was materialising, around eighteen months after an action plan was put in place. Altice France returned to positive EBITDA growth in the quarter, posting a better result than anticipated in the trading update published earlier this month. The EBITDA guidance for the full-year, targeting an adjusted EBITDA result of EUR 4.0-4.1 billion, has been confirmed, alongside the target of 3-5 percent revenue growth.

Telefonica organic revenue growth improves to 3.8% in Q1

(Telecompaper) Telefonica reported organic revenue growth improving to 3.8 percent in the first quarter, led by the UK and South America as well as continued growth in its home market Spain. OIBDA was up a slower 1 percent on an organic basis, and the company maintained its forecast for both figures to grow around 2 percent in the full year.
