EcoWatch: China is helping Pakistan build the largest solar farm in the world. The Chinese company Xinjiang SunOasis took only three months to install a 100-Megawatt (MW), 400,000-panel pilot power project--marking the first solar power plant in Pakistan. Quarter of Dutch households have two or more tablets

(Telecompaper) Two-thirds of Dutch households owned at least one tablet (66%) in the second quarter of 2015. This breaks down to 42 percent of households with one tablet and almost a quarter (24%) owning two or more tablets. The consumer tablet market continues to grow in the Netherlands, with overall household penetration up from 54 percent in the first quarter of 2014, according to the quarterly TP Basics overview from Telecompaper. Tablet penetration is above average among households with a higher income. The TP Basics overview also reveals that the tablet penetration is lower for single-person households: less than half of single-person households have tablets (48%). TP Basics by Telecompaper is a publication providing concise, quarterly overviews of smartphone and tablet ownership in the Netherlands, available as free downloads.
