Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support particularly the development of hosted payload missions, instrument developments and procurements. The focus of the work will be on instruments for insitu measurements for space weather charged particles, plasma, magnetic field, but work related also to e.g. microparticle sensors is foreseen. The work may include support for planning of SmallSat or cubesat missions. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory MSc or equivalent academic degree in engineering or physics. Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the system level design, procurement and performance predictionevaluation of spacebased insitu measurements instrumentation. Demonstrated practical experience with projects developing spacebased instrumentation and the related processes. Experience in instrument performance modelling. Knowledge of space weather instrumentation. Experience in participating in international industry contracts with a clearly defined project management or lead engineering responsibility. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Involved in activities related to payload technology and product development for telecommunication Support the establishment and control of relevant ESA requirements, specifications and general documentation. Evaluation, support to negotiation, monitoring and control of development contracts and activities. Contribute to the preparation of technology and product development work plans. Monitor market and technology trends and developments in the area of satellite communication. Identify any issues during the procurement phase, the running or losing of an activity, and flag them for attention in a timely manner. Support the timely preparation of papers for Adjudication Committee meetings or Delegate bodies IPC, JCB, with high quality standards.
