Job Profile An experienced procurement and contracts manger with the focus on space hardware, preferably with technical background is required to participate in LuxSpace Satellite Projects. The products of concern will be used for commercial Communication Satellites realized by the OHBgroup, as well as for LuxSpace own MicroSats. Activities comprise the complete flow from requestofproposal, contract negotiations to subcontractor management until delivery. Experience of working in the satellite industry and knowledge of ESA workflow methodology is a must. Required skills and tasks to be performed Being the focal point for all administrative, commercial and scheduling matters towards the supplier and the customer. Proposal and Procurement Officer Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will be responsible for the preparation of competitive financial, legal and administrative proposal parts and preparation and execution of tenders with a full set of subcontractors including Analysis and annotation of tender documentation in terms of financial, legal and administrative issues Clarification of various tender issues e.g. taxes, duties, customs, insurances, export control, transportation, financial guarantees, foreign currencies, etc. Pricing and project calculation Preparation of financial, legal and administrative proposal parts in close cooperation with the EUMETSAT bid team and under consideration of DLR GfR internal requirements Preparation and execution of requests for proposals Financial and contractual management of the subcontractors incl. negotiations Analysis of tender documentation Schedule management Contractual knowledge Export and Import Control.
