For our activities in Germany, we are currently looking for a person to provide Software Build and Deployment Engineering Support. Main tasks Maintenance and development of the asbuilt software build environments Building, packaging and distribution of software releases and patches Support to programmers with respect to software build and development strategies Support the delivery of software externally developed its installation, configuration and testing Investigation into anomalies, their documentation and classification follow up of the delivery of SW corrections Participation in technical meetings and formal reviews Analysis of the maintenance requirements and identification, procurement or implementation of the tools to fulfil them writing of maintenance procedures Interfacing with external contractors who are providing maintenance services for ground segment facilities Mandatory University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Experience in SW development, configuration controlled software build environments, and experience in SW packaging, installation and configuration for the operation and maintenance of large, realtime Monitoring Control Data Processing systems Work experience in Unix and Unixlike Operating System environments and in Windows and Windows Serverbased environments Familiar to the extent required by the performance of the above tasks with networking, distributed applications, and TCPIP services Good communication, presentation, team working skills and ability to perform under very high workloads Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and perform a system overview A high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills Work effectively in English have knowledge of French EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format Programming languages, software tools and processes Essential knowledge and experience in using UnixLinux command line tools Software build environments and tools e.g. autoconfautomake, make, ANT, Maven Source Code control systems, preferably SVN, GIT, CVS or ClearCase Experience with various software packaging formats RPM, PKG, LPP...
