The GSA has been delegated by the European Commission the management of the EGNOS Exploitation Phase and in particular the development of future generations of the system EGNOS V3 and the study of its potential extensions to Africa. In this context, the GSA needs to define the EGNOS V3 Service Centre ESC through a modular approach, allowing for the implementation of future service extension to African regions. This position is based in Toulouse, France or Torrejn, Spain Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Develop a modular and decentralised concept of the EGNOS V3 Service Center including EDAS services, providing interface to users in Europe located at GSC in Madrid and in African regions decentralised in the SBAS African modules Contribute to the update of the EGNOS V3 Service Provision Requirements Document SPRD for what concerns Service Centre Establish the technical specifications for the development of a modular and decentralised Service Center for EGNOS V3 serving European and African users and including EDAS services Establish the Interface Control Document between the EGNOS V3 core System and the EGNOS V3 Service Centre including EDAS services Liaise with the European GNSS Service Centre, already existing and currently dedicated to Galileo httpswww.gsceuropa.eu Followup of the ESC implementation from procurement to operations. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in the exact sciences e.g. engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, telecommunications, electronics etc. Project management experience in spacesatellite services design, implementation andor operations definition Extensive experience with the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service EGNOS Experience in the definition and monitoring of Customer Service Level Agreements Strong experience working with the international institution such as European Commission andor the European GNSS Agency andor the European Space Agency, etc The following skills would be highly desirable Contribution to the definition of EGNOS Service Provision framework in multimodal domains.
