Fanless and DIN-rail/wall-mountable, 6-port Series LMP-0600 Ethernet Switches are each designed with two 10/100Tx Fast Ethernet ports as well as four 10/100Tx Fast Ethernet ports that are IEEE 8023.at/af compliant and have PoE power output up to 30 W per port. Units are pre-loaded with Layer 2 network management software, and provide redundant ring network function with RSTP and ITU-G.8032 support. With external USB 2.0 port, users can export and save all configuration settings.

NZARI to support new research into Antartic ice cover

The New Zealand Antarctic Research Institute will provide $500,000 in funding to six new research projects to investigate how Antarctica's ice cover will change as the world warms. The new projects, funded by support NZARI received from the Aotearoa Foundation and Air New Zealand explore how ice floating at the edge of Antarctica interacts with the surrounding Southern Ocean.
