Xamarin hopes to attract more developers with expanded iOS support

The latest version of Xamarin's namesake development platform has additional support for iOS and more features for sharing code across the Apple OS, Android and Windows. Xamarin's platform lets developers use C# to create native apps for Android, iOS, Mac OS X and Windows. The most important addition in version 3 of Xamarin is Designer for iOS, which Xamarin hopes developers will embrace as an alternative to Apple's Xcode Interface Builder. The advantage is that users can stay in a single environment for the entire development process.

Our german activities grow at fast pace and to face our costumers high level expectations and needs, we are looking for talented profiles having relevant experience in Space systems and applications. Mission The key person will provide hisher prime support to the evolution and maintenance of the EUMETSAT Spacecraft Simulators in general and in particular to SIMULUS based simulators The tasks of the key person will typically include Maintenance and Evolution Activities User Support Technical Management Software engineering framework support Profile In addition to having a University degree in a relevant engineering discipline, the key person shall demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in the area of simulator software maintenance, evolution and testing as well as space segment requirements and design with the following mandatory areas 1. Domain Skills o Experience minimum 3 years in software maintenance and evolution of Spacecraft Simulators based on SIMULUS software suite from ESAESOC. In particular, experience in all the following SIMULUS components is considered mandatory SIMSAT, Ground Models, Generic Models, REFA, Emulator Suite and tailoring, UMFEGOSMF. o Experience minimum 3 years in the definition and design of SMP2 compliant software models of spacecraft service platform subsystems. o Knowledge and understanding of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS with specific reference to ECSSE7041A TM and TC packet utilization. 2. Software Development Maintenance Skills o Experience minimum 3 years in the full cycle of development of application software for SIMULUS based simulator, following formal software engineering processes. This includes system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design and implementation reflecting maintenance activities as well as new applications definition. o Experience minimum 3 years in corrective maintenance, integration and verification testing activities of application software following formal software engineering processes. This includes requirement verification, generation of test plan and test procedures, nonregression testing, generation of test data, generation of test tools, running the test procedures on the target system, generation of test reports, and anomaly tracking, investigation, correction and testing. o Experience in defining automatic testing suites at unit and components integration level. 3. Software Engineering Skills o Experience minimum 3 years in developing and maintaining software applications using Java and C programming languages under UNIX operating systems and development and maintenance of javascript scripts SIMULUS scripting technology. o Experience minimum 3 years in developing and maintaining software applications using objectoriented technologies, Unified Modelling Language UML for software design and CASE design tools like Magic Draw. Fluency in English oral and written is mandatory. Due to legal requirements, applicants must be EU citizens.
