Import prices have plunged on China's yarn market, primarily due to a fall in Indian prices. Demand has slightly recovered on the domestic market, but mostly due to speculative buying, with yarn futures surging at the same time. With production surging in the meantime, cotton and yarn prices could fall to significantly lower levels.
