Systems Communications Engineering As part of the System Engineering Group, the system communication engineer will provide RF and Digital System Payload architecture design, perform link budget and capacity analysis, define payload requirements and associated performances, and do detail analysis in support of MDA communication Payload proposals and programs. Responsibilities Communication Engineer provide both payload architecture design and RFdigital system performance analysis during life cycle of payload, from bids to the project implementation phases along with RD activities in support of payload or processes improvement. The engineer will interface with suppliers and customer and participate in the technical negotiation. Knowledge of the immerging satellite technologies is required such as flexible communications payload, digital transparent processor, DSP, Channelizer, Multiport Amplifier MPA and active antenna arrays. Capability to generate winning technical proposals base on Payload architecture that fulfil the customer requirements and provide an optimum performance cost tradeoff, with minimum risk. Provision of System Engineering Documentation System Requirements, Equipment Specifications, SOC, Verification and Validation Matrix, Design Data Packages, Systems Budgets, Test Reports. Impact Analysis of Non and Partial Compliance from Equipment Level up to Payload Level. Management and Execution of RFW and RFDs. Produce and manage ECNs as necessary. Participate in program design reviews EQSR, SRR, PDR and CDR. Produce Payload Test Plan, Test Requirement and Procedures, provide support and Interface with AIT during Payload Assembly Integration and Test. Lead and or attend TRR, TRB, DRB, and NCRs. Review and approve payload test results. Support the production of the Payload EIDP. Provide support to Spacecraft test campaign, at the SC supplier facility. Define InOrbit Test IOT plan and procedures and provide support to IOT Payload tests. General Requirements 8 to 13 years minimum experience in Communications Satellite Payloads RF design background and digital knowledge Bent pipe and Digital Communications System design skills including simulations Knowledge of Channelizer and MPA Ingnierie des systmes de communication Au sein du groupe dingnierie systme, lingnieur des systmes de communication fournira une conception darchitecture des charges utiles de systmes RF et numriques, effectuera des bilans de liaison et analyses de la capacit, dfinira les exigences de charges utiles et les rendements connexes et fera des analyses dtailles lappui des propositions et programmes de charges utiles de tlcommunications de MDA. Responsabilits Lingnieur en communication fournit la conception de larchitecture de la charge utile et lanalyse du rendement du systme RFnumrique au cours du cycle de vie de la charge utile, des soumissions jusquaux phases de mise en uvre du projet ainsi que les activits de R. et D. lappui de lamlioration des charges utiles et des procds. Lingnieur assurera linterface avec les fournisseurs et clients et participera la ngociation technique. Une connaissance des technologies satellitaires mergentes est requise telles que les charges utiles de communications flexibles, les processeurs numriques transparents, DSP, canaliseur, amplificateur multiports MPA et les antennesrseaux actives. Capacit de produire des propositions techniques gagnantes bases sur larchitecture des charges utiles qui rpondent aux exigences des clients et offrent un rendement optimal une rduction des cots et un risque minimal. Fournir de la documentation dingnierie du systme exigences du systme, spcifications dquipement, SOC, matrice de vrification et de validation, ensembles de donnes de conception, budgets des systmes, rapports dessai. Analyse des consquences de la nonconformit ou conformit partielle au niveau de lquipement jusquau niveau de la charge utile. Gestion et excution des demandes de renonciation aprs production RFW et des demandes de drogation avant production RFD. Produire et grer les avis de modifications techniques ECN au besoin. Participer aux revues de dfinition des programmes EQSR, SRR, PDR et CDR. Produire le plan dessai des charges utiles, les procdures et exigences dessai, fournir un appui et une interface avec lAIT au cours de lassemblage, intgration et essai des charges utiles. Mener ou assister aux TRR, TRB, DRB et NCR. Passer en revue et approuver les rsultats dessai des charges utiles. Soutenir la production du EIDP des charges utiles. Fournir un soutien pour la campagne dessai du satellite, ltablissement du fournisseur du satellite. Dfinir les procdures et le plan dessai en orbite IOT et fournir un appui pour les essais IOT des charges utiles. Exigences gnrales 8 13 ans minimum dexprience en charges utiles de satellites de tlcommunications Antcdents en conception RF et connaissance numrique Comptences en conception de systmes de communication numriques et tube coud incluant les simulations Connaissance du canaliseur et de MPA
