Position Reference 074 RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Galileo international support and SAR Return Link Service support for our client located in Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Technical support for international activities such as international negotiations and international groups, including but not limited to COSPASSARSAT meetings, the MEOSAR EURussia Working Group, UN ICG etc Support for the implementation of the SAR Return Link Service and the implementation of a further SAR Meolut ground station, including Preparation and review of the technical documentation Followup of industrial procurements Interface with security engineering and with ESA on requirements implementation Participate to the SAR evolutions development reviews and CCB relevant to the tasks under your responsibility Support the qualification reviews of new releases of the SAR Ground Segment up to services rollout Interface with CNES and ESA at project CCB level. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have University degree in an Engineering discipline. You have at least 5 years of experience in SAR activities. You have at least 3 years experience of contract management or project management. At least level C1 in English understanding, writing and speaking. Support Configuration Management Service

BepiColombo is a joint ESAJAXA mission to Mercury. The mission comprises two spacecraft, ESAs Mercury Planetary Orbiter MPO and JAXAs Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter MMO. The two spacecraft will be launched in October of 2018 with arrival at Mercury in December 2025. The activities of the MPO Science Ground Segment SGS include Science Operations Planning of the MPO payload, science data processing and data distribution to the instrument teams, quick look data analysis of science data and archiving of data in the BepiColombo science archive. The MPO SGS has interfaces with the Operational Ground Segment OGS at ESOC, the MMO JAXA Sagamihara Space Operations Centre SSOC, the MPO Instrument Teams and the Scientific Community. The SGS is based at the European Space Astronomy Centre ESAC in Villanueva de la Caada, Madrid, Spain

The successful applicant will work at the core of meteorological satellite operations in Europe as MTG Schedule Support service provider for Telespazio VEGA and support the MTG programme at EUMETSAT in developing and maintaining their schedule. In particular, this will focus on the integration, validation and verification of the system. ResponsibilitiesDuties Responsibilities and tasks to Support to System Management Maintain a detailed development logic and schedule of the MTG Programme, in particular for the integration, validation and verification of the system Track activities progress against agreed development plans and schedule and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with the elaboration of proposals to reduce the impact of any deviation Provide once per month a schedule summary report for the Schedule Control Board on development progress against the development schedule and the status of interactions Identify interactions among subsystems and partnerscontractors and associate them with main development milestones and work breakdown structure. Generate and analyse schedule performance indicators, milestone trend charts Responsibilities and Tasks to Support the Maintenance and Management of the MTG planning schedule Establish, monitor, maintain and control the MTG Programme planning and schedules, based on inputs from the programme technical teams i.e. System, Ground Segment, Space Segment, including activities, inputs outputs. The tasks extend to include planning and monitoring of the associated resources Improve and maintain multilayered programme planning files and schedules, based on Level 0 to Level 4 planning inputs. Monitor and control programme planning and schedules, including maintenance of and controlled changes to the schedule baseline in view of progress made and scope changes agreed Generate periodic scheduling status reports, including trend analysis of scheduling performance indicators Prepare and contribute to monthly programme meetings on planning and schedule management, monitoring and control Assist programme team leaders in establishing, monitoring and controlling individual plans and schedules as well as related programme resources Followup subsystem developments and participate in necessary meetings and reviews QualificationsExperience University degree or similar in engineering or management, together with several years of working experience in the aera of project planning, scheduling, monitoring or control. Essential Skills Demonstrated experience in large system developments, ideally in the space andor ground segment. Extensive experience in using Microsoft Project and knowledge of project management standards e.g. ECSS. Ability to draft concise management reports and executive level presentations. Fluency in the English language. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in addition to team working skills. Desirable Skills Extensive experience using the Microsoft Office suite. Experience working in space programmes would be an asset.
