2016-06-01 09:17:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) Apple has moved to third place in the global set-top box market in terms of revenue, thanks to its popular Apple TV devices. In 2014, Apple was only in ninth place. In 2015, it shipped more than 10 million Apple TVs, the fifth highest volume in the world after Arris, Technicolor, Skyworth and ZTE, according to the market researcher. Global set-top box shipments grew 4.8 percent in 2015 to 353 million units, supported by expansion of IPTV services in China.
