US Apparel Imports in January-September 2015: China vs. Rest of World (Statistical Report)

Far from retreating, China has made slight gains of US apparel import market shares over the first three quarters of the year. Chinese suppliers are however retreating in a series of specific categories, including with certain man-made fiber products. This is reflected by our statistical review covering the first three quarters of last four years and comparing US apparel imports from China with shipments from Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value and unit value terms. Historical data with percentage change and market shares are available for download back January-September 2012.

Viscose Staple Fiber and Filament Prices in China (Weekly Report)

Viscose prices of smallest Chinese suppliers have begun slightly sliding, after previously shut down plants have returned to normal production. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets over the last 12 months. Viscose spun yarn prices are also available. Cotton linter, cotton pulp and wood pulp prices on domestic and import markets are being tracked over the last 12 months, in addition.

Angora Rabbit Fiber Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

China's exports of angora fibers have sharply declined in the first three quarters of 2015 as a result of a boycott campaign launched in the last year in the United States and Europe. Prices of rabbit hair have not been depressed in line with the fall in export demand, however. This report covers dehaired shearing angora prices on China's domestic market and carded rabbit fiber export prices. Historical data are available for download covering the 2009-2015 period.
