Reporting to the Security Accreditation and Risk Manager you will Engineer undertakes tasks and duties as required to maintain compliance to the security requirements, Local Security Operating Procedures and System Accreditation and Certification Plan including supporting external teams relating to ESA GSA. Job Title Satellite Operations Security Engineer Job Type Contract 12 months Rate TBC Location Munich Tasks include Monitoring of security rules application and the engineering of securityrelated systemlevel issues and supporting system design reviews. Security support to Ground Engineering teams Security support to the configuration control and segment evolution rollout processes, including validation campaigns. Bookcaptain of Verification Control Documents and managementfollowup of related subcontractor inputs. Support to the definitionengineering of Security Incident Response procedures. Analysis of threats and vulnerabilities associated with infrastructure or with operational procedures. Experience Good knowledge of the Satellite System architecture. Have at least 5 years of work experience on Satellite andor Ground Segment Operations andor Systems Engineering. Subcontractor management Industry expertise of IT cyber security defence. Understanding of systems engineering processes. Advanced understanding of computer security concepts at both technical and procedural level and robust knowledge of Information Security fundamentals.
