For our project in Noordwijk in the Netherlands we are looking for a Galileo Security Operations Validation Engineer fm at ESTEC. Tasks The Galileo Project, as part of the Galileo Ground Segment Operations Security Unit inside the Galileo Security Office requires engineering support for monitoring and controlling the overall preparation and execution of the Galileo security operations activities, including the associated PRS User Segment activities. The holder of the post will support the Galileo Security Office in the coordinating of the definition, preparation, testing, validation, and implementation of the Galileo security operations for the system and security users, as required to meet the overall Galileo requirements. This concerns the security operations activities performed in the Galileo Control Centres Oberpfaffenhofen and Fucino, the Galileo remote stations, the Galileo external entities and the PRS User Communities. For the day to day work heshe will report to the Head of the Galileo Ground Segment Operations Security Unit in order to provide regular support to the Galileo Operations Procurement Office. The responsibilities of this post include in particular Monitor the Galileo Security Operations Engineering activities for the implementation of the System SECOPS including the associated SoC and VCD documents Monitor the Galileo Security Operations Validation activities by ensuring readiness of security procedures for Satellite, Ground Segment and System Test Campaigns Monitor the operational security interfaces to the Mission Level Operational Bodies Flight Key Cell, CDA, GSMC Ensure the Security Operations readiness for GALILEO Services Provision Support the Galileo accreditation process as main interface between the industrial operations teams and the Mission Level Accreditation bodies Support the GALILEO Security Requirements and System Accreditation Unit by ensuring the flow down and implementation of the Mission Level Security Specifications Support the GALILEO Security Requirements and System Accreditation Unit by ensuring that the different Operations Contractors implement the Security Accreditation Methodology and associated outputs Threat Scenario Coverage both As Designed and As Built Coordinate the technical definition, implementation and validation of the operational security measures including ground and space assets coming from Risk Treatment Plans. Support the Galileo Anomaly Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards in the area of Security Operational Activities. Support the PRS User Communities with respect to the operational activities to be implemented as soon as the Galileo PRS signals are available to them Essential requirements For the accomplishment of the listed tasks, knowledge and experience of the following is mandatory A University degree or equivalent education in Electric or Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering Significant experience in senior position for security operations related activities, with experience in management tasks A proven experience in in a commercialindustrial environment The ability to work independently Desirable Skills Experience related to developments in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, IOC will be considered an asset.
