Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of SYS Systems Technology and Concurrent Engineering. Overview The postholder will provide support to the section activities in the areas ofsystems and concurrent engineering. In addition, support to thedevelopment and implementation of ModelBased System EngineeringMBSE, system engineering modeling and support of concurrentengineering tools methods. Specific qualification requirements The candidateshall have experience of system engineering including PhD or Master degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or physics. Experience in and good knowledge of Model Based System Engineering. Experience in software engineering and software development projects. An ability to work independently and to establish good working relations with ESA is essential. A very good working knowledge of spoken and written English isessential. Galileo Project System Engineer

We are looking for two Galileo Project System Engineers E3 to join our Modis Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Modis Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Modis is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 120 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. The Galileo Project System Engineer will report to the Head of the Galileo Project Management Support Office or to the Head of the Galileo System Project Control Unit and will execute hisher tasks in close cooperation with the Galileo Procurement Managers. In the Galileo Program, ESA has the role of System prime instead of an Industrial Prime and Technical Design Authority while the EC is the Program Manager. Specific tasks to be performed This position covers system engineering tasks provided in support to the Galileo Project Management team, namely in the areas of Technical schedule control, Technical reviews organization, project risk management, project cost control and procurement. Contribute to the preparation of the Galileo system prime schedules, customerfurnished items list and Galileo system design, development and validation plan technical core planning document. Previous experience in project management and negotiation in industrial context. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, as well as planning and organisation skills, attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They should possess sound judgment have integrity and good communications skills. A very good working knowledge of spoken and written English is essential.
