Sentinel5 Precursor System Operations Management Support

You will have the opportunity to assist the Sentinel5 Precursor Operations Manager in the daytoday tasks related to the Sentinel5 Precursor mission operations at our clients premises in Frascati, Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be supporting the Operations Manager for routine endtoend monitoring and trend analysis You will be assisting in early detection of performance degradation, definition of corrective actions You will be overseeing anomaly investigations and definition of recovery actions You will be supporting analysis of possible evolution and optimisation of the system seeking reduction of risks, moderation of running costs and required technological evolutions You will be supporting analysis of new requirements received from user communities andor EC You will be interfacing and coordinating with the Sentinel5 Precursor operations contracts You will be interfacing and coordinating with other Sentinel missions for the utilisation of common services You will be interfacing and coordinating with the Sentinel5 Precursor Mission Performance Centre which performs the calibration and validation activities and conducts the evolution of the processing algorithms and routine data quality control You will be supporting the preparation and update of mission documents as well as presentations of related information You will be supporting technical analyses related to the activities of various partners, including in particular system budgets estimation of volume of data to be accessed by collaborative ground segments, etc. You will be delivering new presentations as requested for meetings You will be assisting with the collection and analysis of information for the compilation of technical notes, plans, etc. You will be reviewing of technical notes and documents You will be contributing to the mission operations reporting You will be assisting the organisation of mission operations reviews You will be supporting the management of Review Item Disposition RIDs during operations reviews You will be supporting the review of data packages during operations reviews You will be ensuring that the ESA standards and processes i.e. Quality Management System are maintained. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Masters Degree in the relevant discipline as well as at least 4 years of experience You have demonstrated experience in EO mission ground segment system engineering, ideally Sentinel related You have good technical and analytical skills You have good time management skills You are able to work under pressure and without continuous supervision You have a good knowledge of MS office tools including spreadsheet and presentation preparation How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
