Position Reference 687 We are currently looking for an EGNOS System Security Engineer to work for our Client in the city of Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure activities, with a particular focus on security aspects e.g. security risk treatment, accreditation, .... Support the follow up of the system definition, design, qualification and acceptance activities for the different EGNOS versions and service, in line with the security risk analysis, i.e. with a particular focus on the security measures and operational aspects. Support the security and technical analysis of the architecture and specifications for system and ground segment upgrades to ensure coherence and compliance with the security requirements and identify impacts on baseline security documentation. Monitor the system security status, following up anomaly resolution through the implementation of Work Arounds, fast fixes, midtermlong term correction. Contribute to the specification, design and follow up of such resolution to be implemented by industrial contracts. Contribute to the follow up the development of EGNOS V3 services from the system and infrastructure point of view. Represent the security service team in the system engineering processes and in the relevant boards as necessary including but not limited to Change Control Boards, Anomalyvulnerability Review Boards, Qualification Review Board, Acceptance Review Board, Tender Evaluation board. Support the GSA security management as needed. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in the System. To be organized, dynamic and proactive. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Eligibility for Security clearance EU Secret. EPSSG System and Instrument Functional Chain Engineer 2013024 Job Description We are looking for a System andor Instrument Functional Chain Engineer for our customer, EUMETSAT. Depending on your profile you will join one of the following specialised teams to support the overall System Team for this mission. System Engineering Team in charge of the definition, specification and design of EPSSG System. It supports the Operations Preparation Team aiming to guarantee the operational readiness of the system at the handover to the Operations Department and supports the IVV Team for the Integration, Verification and Validation activities at System level. IFCT Engineering Team in charge of the management of endtoend aspects of the Instrument Functional Chains to ensure that the level 1 and level 2 products generated by the EPSSG System meet the requirements. Required Skills and Experience A university degree or equivalent in experience in a relevant discipline Between 1 and 3 years in the field of System engineering or instrument data processing of complex space systems with experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems, in the area of LowEarth Orbiting satellites including endtoend data acquisition and processing verifying instrument data processing systems development of test data sets, test tools or instrument data processor prototypes specification of operational products for earth observation missions requirementsbased design, development and verification process of polar satellite systems following the ECSS standards and using DOORS Knowledge of relevant spaceborne observation instruments EPSSG satellites will embark sounders and imagers from the ultraviolet to the microwave range, a scatterometer and a radiooccultation instrument. Strong data analysis, processing and synthesis skills Able to fulfil the assigned tasks with minimum supervision, have a systematic approach to work, able to plan the work and cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks Capability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation Good communication skills verbal and written Willing to provide consultancy to a team of engineers and in cooperation with industry and partner agencies.
