Volkswagen AG saw global sales for all its brands slip 0.2 percent in March as the company works to overcome a scandal over cars that were rigged to cheat on diesel emissions tests. Sales fell 0.2 percent to 967,100 vehicles, hurt by drops of 3.7 percent in the United States and 2.5 percent in the company's home market, Germany.

FirstEnergy offers Ohio customers 100 percent wind-generated power at standard power prices

FirstEnergy officials announced today that, beginning Friday, the utility company will offer a limited number of its customers the option to buy 100 percent wind energy-generated power at the same price as its standard power. The program, called the "Switch2Green4Free" offer, is part of the company's "The Switch is On" campaign, which is designed to promote FirstEnergy's environmental achievements and to demonstrate the benefits of green energy, officials said in a written statement.
