(Telecompaper) South Korean operator SK Telecom became the inaugural chair of the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), a global union of companies studying 5G network technologies, Yonhap news agency reports. TIP has appointed SK Telecom's chief technology officer Choi Jin-sung as the first chairman of the organization.

The Hawthorne-Salmon Area Green Street and Sewer Project includes installing 23 green street planters, planting 100 street trees, and repairing or replacing over 10,000 feet of public sewer pipe. These improvements will extend the service life of our sewer system and protect public health, property and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases into streets, homes and businesses. This project is part of the Tabor to the River Program.

In spring 2015, Environmental Services began designing a project in your neighborhood to repair or replace 4,500 feet of 100-year-old public sewer pipe that is deteriorating due to age, and add 18 green street planters to remove 2.4 million gallons of stormwater from sewer pipes. These improvements will protect public health, property and the environment and reduce the possibility of sewage releases into streets, homes and businesses.
