NW District Sewer Repair Project UPDATE

Environmental Services is continuing construction on a project to replace about 8,000 feet of sewer pipe that is in poor condition in northwest Portland. The pipes range in size from eight to 36 inches. The project will increase sewer system capacity and help prevent sewer backups in basements. The project is expected to last up to 18 months.

Responsibilities As Project Manager of SES Techcom Services you will be involved or responsible for the attraction, successful management and closure of projects. The projects will be in the field of satellite andor ground engineering operations as well as satellite communication platforms. You are expected to work together with all divisions of the organisation. Throughout project lifecycles, you will interface both customers as well as suppliers. We are currently looking for a Project Management Support to support our customer in Germany. Project Management Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the EPSSG Ground Segment team, you will have, among others, the following responsibilities Coordinate and maintain the Ground Segment Project Management Plan, Team Organisation Chart, Work Breakdown Structure WBS, Work Packages, Product Tree, and related documents Contribute to follow up subsystem development activities monitor deliverables to and from EUMETSATs partners, and support the review of deliverables Participate in team management meetings and in meetings with partner agencies, contractors, internal stakeholders, etc Track progress against agreed development plans and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with proposals to reduce the impact of any delays Contribute to the preparation and execution of the Project Reviews Prepare presentations and synthetic status reports for internal and external purposes Contribute to maintaining the project schedule in coordination with EPSSG team members and performing a critical path analysis of the schedule Track actions and risks, analysing and reporting critical issues to the Project Manager, and support the close out of such actions and risk mitigation activities Support the control of the baseline definition of the ground segment including evaluation of Change Requests, Change Proposals, and Requests for Waiver Deviation, etc..
