The Engineer will ensure that the current projects are successfully delivered to the needs of the business. TASK Project manage spacecraft and other equipment through the full lifecycle from bid generation through detailed planning, design, analysis, breadboarding, manufacture, assembly, test and postdelivery support. Primary point of contact for customers e.g. ESA, NASA, Airbus. Deliver projects to APM and projectspecific e.g. ECSS best practice. Develop the capabilities of the business tools, processes, procedures. Support, mentor and develop other team members. Play a central role in business development, bidding and orderbook growth. Other activities as needed by the business to support its ongoing success. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified to degree or postgraduate level SKILLS Excellent allround communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in the tools and techniques of space project management Proficiency in project planning software Primevera, MS Project, Daptiv or equivalent High degree of IT literacy, including MS Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. EXPERIENCE Experience of full project lifecycle. Proven track record in space project management. Strong technical background in engineering or physical sciences. APMP IPMA project management qualification. Experience in the field of RF and optical engineering. Deep understanding of ECSS standards and their practical application. Knowledge of any of JAXA, ISRO, NASANOAA and CASC PA practices. Proven track record of project managing the development of instrumentation or equipment hardware for ESA missions at subsystem level or above.
