Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of ETM Environmental Testing and Mechanical AIV Engineering. Overview The principle tasks in the area will include Handling and management of a pool of electronic equipment for the ESTEC Test Centre and ESTEC laboratory users. Organizing and supervising of calibration, maintenance and repair of electronic instruments including the related administration tasks. Maintenance and operation of the laboratory accredited methods according to ISOIEC 17025. Support and advice to the ESTEC Test Centre Customers, ESA projects and the ESTEC labs in the field of electrical metrology. Specific qualification requirements HTS education level Technical High School, or equivalent in other education systems. Relevant experience in electronic test laboratories. Good knowledge of engineering measurement methodologies. Familiarity with implementation and management of databases. Good knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO17025 standards would be an asset. Good knowledge Electrical CAD software and electrical safety inspection would be preferable. Fluent in English knowledge of another Member State language is an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands. Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday.
