We are looking for a Flight Dynamics Software Engineer to work at our Headquarters in Bochum, Germany Tasks We are seeking for a candidate, who will initially support the evolution of our Flight Dynamics software product PLENITEROrbit. The successful candidate will work in our Bochum office to support the evolution of our Flight Dynamics software including Orbit Determination Propagation, Manoeuvre Planning, Optimisation and Calibration Collision Avoidance Support, Event Prediction, Coverage and Contact Analysis Interfaces for data exchange with internal and external entities Attitude modelling Our Flight Dynamics software is based on an underlying operationally proven astrodynamics computation engine. As part of our team, you will provide support for routine, special and contingency operations of LEO satellites. You will monitor the lifecycle and performance of our satellites, and drive the preparation and validation of flight dynamics systems for future missions and spacecraft. You have an indepth understanding of spaceflight mechanics and experience in operational spaceflight dynamics systems for Earth observation satellite systems. You will also understand the standards and methodologies that apply to space operational systems. Using your ingenuity and creativity, you will provide support for all our LEO satellites. You will work with our partners and colleagues, using your strong interpersonal and communication skills to interpret and present complex problems and solutions.
