Start date ASAP Main responsibilities For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for a Field Support Technicians to provide support to a permanent user community of around 2500 users. The support to be provided will be varied and will include DellHP and Windows operating systems Apple MacBook Pro and OS X IBM Notes Microsoft Office Mobile and smart phones Network and local printer support Local Service Desk support Third party liaison 1st line networking Imaging computers with SCCM Whipping computer hard drives and preparing them for disposal. The candidate will cover the following tasks Inventory and asset management Manning a Local Service Desk on a rotational basis, with first line call resolution Evaluating tickets coming from the CSD and allocating them to the correct teams, both on and off site Second level calls resolution in the field Explaining to users the available services and how these should be requested Evaluating user requests and problems, raising tickets for each one Solving as many tickets as possible Liaising with the Central Service Desk in Rome Planning PC and other equipment installation, including planned refreshes Assuming ownership of all tickets, continually monitoring these tickets and following them up as required to ensure SLAs are being met Ideal candidate The successful candidate will have had 2 years in a similar environment and have had experience with Asset management tools Incident logging database BMC Remedy ideally MS Windows 710 Office 2016 Apple OS X 10 Network PrinterMFP IBM Notes MS Office products and their usage Mobile phones Android and iOS Excellent communication skill and fluent English spoken and written English Video conference and Telephony desirable but not mandatory Dutch is desirable but not mandatory In addition, candidates should be motivated, team players, process oriented, have good customer interfacing skills, ability to identify priority situations and deal with them accordingly and process oriented person. Main responsibilities For our activities at the European Space Operations Centre ESAESOC in Darmstadt, Germany, we are looking to recruit a temporary Junior Field Support Technician to work on the ESA Corporate IT contract for the duration of 3 months. The ESA Corporate IT contract provides support to all ESOC users in the areas of supporting the desktop infrastructure and in the provision, maintenance and problem solving for laptops, desktops, shared file storage, network connectivity, network printing and email to all ESA users. In addition, the group provides telephony support, fixed and mobile, and video conference support. The user community is a permanent one and has around 800 users. Due to the increased workload in the groups manning, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Field Support Technician on a 3 months temporary basis. The successful candidate will assist the group members with the more mundane aspects of the groups operation. These tasks will include, but will not be restricted to Imaging laptops and desktops in preparation for their deployment Troubleshooting and fixing network printer problems Simple problem solving at the users desktop IT Asset Database management Stock management. Shell cancels $900m deal to sell Thai field stakes to Kuwait's KUFPEC
