Nevada has one of the highest rates of access to high-speed internet for people in urban parts of the state, but access drops substantially for residents in rural areas. Data released last month by the Federal Communications Commission shows that only 3 percent of the 2.7 million people who live in urban parts of Nevada have no access to high-speed Internet service.
