A group of protesters fighting to prevent a development on University of California land in Albany disrupted a meeting of the UC Board of Regents on May 21. Representatives of activist group Occupy the Farm interrupted the meeting to shout out what they said are facts about the proposed development next to graduate student housing along San Pablo Avenue in Albany. Opponents of the development claim the land is some of the only undeveloped farmland left in the area.
