Mission Control Applications Software Engineer Candidates require a background in the design and maintenance of Satellite Mission Control Systems, Flight Dynamics Systems and Mission Planning Systems the full development lifecycle of application software, including integration, verification testing and maintenance phases, following formal software engineering processes Software engineering applied to design and development of software components and applications using Object Orientated OO approach space related standards ECSS and CCSDS concerning spacetoground interfaces and applicable to Satellite Mission Control Systems development of software applications using C under UNIX operating systems. Mission Control System Software Engineer The Mission Control System Software Engineer shall provide prime support to the evolution and maintenance of the operational Mission Control Systems. They shall also perform engineering of the Mission Control Systems developed in the frame of new programmes. Network development and maintenance engineer The Network development and maintenance engineer shall support operations and maintenance of the network infrastructure and service of the ground segments. They shall also carry out the handling and troubleshooting of the network systems and services anomaly as well as being in charge of the operating administrating and maintaining thirdparty provided network services. Heshe shall also monitor and report the performance of the network infrastructure and systems, including third part provided network services, and the quality of the services delivered to the users. Computer System Engineer The Computer Systems Engineer shall provide support to the operational Ground Segments. The duties shall range from the support to the operation of the UNIXLinuxbased ground segment facilities, to the analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of distributed hardware and systems software platforms. This will include the setting up and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures, the support to the procurement of hardware and software, and the coordination with external providers of maintenance services. Storage SAN system engineer The Storage Network InfrastructureStorage Area Network Engineer shall provide support to the development and maintenance of storage systems of the operational ground segment, with special focus on archive and retrieval services. The duties will include the administration and operation of the central archive systems, maintenance of the external storage inventory and support to the operation of the storage and computing services. Dissemination Software Engineer The Dissemination Software Engineer shall provide support to the development and maintenance of the Data Services Systems. The duties range from gathering requirements, design, implementation, testing and configuration of developed dissemination software and related commercial off the shelf software throughout the entire software life cycle including review of similar software. Infrastructure Engineer The Infrastructure Engineer shall provide support to the development and maintenance of the operational infrastructure supporting the programmes. The duties range from gathering requirements from the users, design, implementation and testing of infrastructure solutions. The main areas covered by the infrastructure engineer are planning of rooms and racks layout, power and cooling budget, physical installation of racks, equipment and cable plants.
