Industrial park in northwest Houston breaks ground

Dallas-based Crow Holdings Industrial has purchased the former Goya Foods manufacturing site in northwest Houston to develop its industrial park, Apex Distribution Center. The industrial park, Apex Distribution Center, will include three Class A, front-load, light-industrial warehouses that will offer more than 410,000 square feet.

For our activities in EUMETSAT, we are currently looking for a Ground Segment System and IVV Engineer. Tasks and Responsibilities The Ground Segment Engineer GSE shall support the development and maintenance of the EUMETSAT ground segments. The GSE shall also maintain an uptodate set of design documents and Interface Control Documents for the operational systems and shall perform technical analysis of system architecture and specification for evolutions or major upgrades of the ground segments. Requirements The key person should have the following background Development and maintenance of complex operational ground systems, preferably in the area of 247 operational remote sensing satellites Experience of ground segments which are designed and developed taking advantage by the reuse of existing generic infrastructure and functional elements System and Interfaces Engineering AIT experience for the development of major upgrades new ground systems in a 247 operational environment. Good knowledge of at least 2 of the following domains and an overview of the others will also be a distinct advantage o Networking Communications o Satellite Monitoring and Control systems o Data dissemination and archiving o Near RealTime Data Processing.
