Tasks The holder of the post will support the Galileo Project Office in the activities of Ground Segment AIV Assembly, Integration and Validation, with the following responsibilities AIV Engineering Review AIV documentation AIV Plans, RVMs, Test Cases, Test Procedures Follow up of GMS Segment Tests in AIV Platform Pforzheim and the Galileo Control Centres Review Test Procedures Support TRRs and ensure that planned testing is correct in terms of qualification objectives, configuration, and adequacy of the Test Procedures Witness test execution Review qualification test results and test logs Attend PTRs and Credit Collection meetings to approve Qualification. Prepare inputs for the relevant NRBs. Approve qualification of requirements based on Results. Support to System Verification Activities Support the Ground Segment Integration activity including test execution Review the GS Integration documentation including the RVMs, GS Integration and Verification Plan, Test Cases and Test Procedures. Participate in the test activities write and review Test Procedures, attend TRRs and TRBs, perform or witness test execution, coordinate test team, review qualification test results and test logs Participate in NRBsARBs analyzing noncompliances and RFWs Identify and report on anomalies impacting System activities and provide support for followup and resolution Support other System Integration and Verification activities e.g. SCTCs, IOV Test Campaign, External Interface testing, GMS Commissioning The incumbent will be required to develop pretest documentation and posttest result approval. For our activities in EUMETSAT, we are currently seeking a Ground Stations Engineer for the Routine Operations phases of Meteosat Transition Programme MTP, the Meteosat Second Generation Programme MSG, the EUMETSAT Polar System EPS and JASON2. Tasks The Ground Stations play a key role in Space and Ground Segment operations, the Key person will therefore be expected to acquire and maintain a Systemwide view of the Ground Segment, particularly in the areas of spacecraft TTC and payload data transfer.
