Supporters of the proposal to build a junction at Emersons Green on the M4 - branded 'Junction 18a' - say the A 50 million project could open up at least 7,000 jobs, as well as take pressure off the M4, M32 and other major roads around north and east Bristol, particularly the A4174 Avon Ring Road.
