For Astrium in Bremen within the area Astrium ERP for the department Administrative applications we are looking for an Information Management Project Leader PMO mf. Within the department ERP Administrative Applications, in the Information Management IM division, the candidate will support Project Management Office PMO business activities by providing and maintaining related software tools. PMO activities cover project programme scheduling analysis, resource and workload analysis, risk and opportunity analysis, and physical and earned value management. The candidate will participate in several projects aiming to implement PMO software tools and to extend the use of existing tools in an integrated software landscape. In the context of these projects, the following activities will be performed Collecting and analysing business requirements Defining the optimal software solution responding to these requirements, and promoting maximum reuse of existing tools, minimum changes to offtheshelf commercial software, minimum development to cost and schedule, and consequently reduced operating costs Managing development of the software solution Writing technical specifications Participating in architecture definition Liaising with IM infrastructure teams for procurement and configuration of required hardware and middleware Participating in negotiation with software suppliers Ensuring software development followup Defining and implementing customisation of software product Managing validation of solution Organising testing phase Managing software corrections Preparing operation phase Defining and running migration of legacy data, if required Ensuring that user support is properly organised, including user documentation Ensuring that user training procedures are defined Providing support to PMO tool operations Maintaining the application in a fully operational state, including customising updates, master data supervision and housekeeping Implementing regular software upgrades Reporting definition changes Analysing bugs reported by users, ensuring a timely resolution and, in case of delay, proposing adequate workarounds We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in information technology, business administration, economics or equivalent PMO process knowledge scheduling techniques, risk management techniques, earned value management, Primavera scheduling PM v6 minimum Experience as an Active Risk Manager ARM SAP PS Module, SAP Business Warehouse Ability to work in a team and manage priorities, responsive approach, and excellent communication skills A fluent negotiation level in German, intermediate level in English The position can also be staffed either in Munich Ottobrunn or in Friedrichshafen. This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a PMO Planning and Scheduling Consultant. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The consultant will support the clients Technical and Scientific Support Department participating in the planning and scheduling of their projects portfolio. The consultant shall have at least 5 years experience with the following Planning and scheduling within a large project including conflict resolution Project Portfolio management Expert level usage of MS Project and MS Excel Proven experience in using scheduling planning tools Any experience of scheduling for space segment programmes andor ground segment development and operations will be considered an advantage Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of 2 years starting in August 2013 with two options to extend for a further period of one year each.
