Sri Lanka's apparel exports have continued to rise in the first half of 2019 on both US and EU markets. Shipments have soared to Germany and Italy, however plunging to France. Exporters stay focused on underwear and lingerie, also betting on the development of local textile production. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Sri Lanka's clothing exports in the 1st quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Crystal to scale up fabric waste recycling in Sri Lanka

Apparel manufacturing giant Crystal International Group Limited is aiming to recycle 40% of the fabric waste generated by its Sri Lanka factories this year following the success of a fabric waste upcycling pilot project.

Which countries hve benefited from China's loss of market shares in the first quarter this year and in which categories?
