Sri Lanka is expecting to deliver a 4-5% year-on-year growth in apparel exports in 2019, the country's leading apparel industry association has said.

Sri Lanka's full-year apparel export target has reportedly been trimmed by US$500m following a fall in export earnings for October.

Morocco and Tunisia have taken advantage of their proximity, whereas Turkey is seizing opportunities offered by free access, proximity and a sharply lower currency.
