Amazon Prime Video secures live Premier League rights in UK

(Telecompaper) The English Premier League has sold the remaining two UK live rights packages to BT Sport and Amazon Prime Video, concluding the sale process for all its live broadcasting rights in the UK and Ireland for the three seasons from 2019/2020 to 2021/2022. Premier League Executive Chairman Richard Scudamore welcomed Amazon as an 'exciting new partner' and said that Prime Video would provide an excellent platform to watch matches.
