GIS SOFTWARE ARCHITECT Function You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team active in the design and development of endtoend solutions for the distribution, processing and visualization of earth observation data and derived products, mainly in the field of environmental and agriculture monitoring. You work closely together with the project manager, client and development team to determine the needs and define the system requirements within the technical and budgetary constraints. You design the system architecture and select the appropriate technologies for implementation. You collaborate in and follow up on the implementation of its subcomponents according to the system requirements and planning. You define and oversee test plans for subsystem and system level test campaigns Profile You have a Master degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences or equivalent by experience. Midsenior level with several years of experience in software development in a system architect role. Knowledge of earth observation image processing and applications is considered a strong asset. Experience in JAVA, C, script languages and databases. Experience with GIS, OGC, Java EE, UML, Web services, Application servers, Web development, server virtualisation, Big data andor business intelligence are considered a strong asset. Experience with Luciad software components is an asset. Able to communicate orally and in writing effectively in English knowledge of Dutch, French is an asset. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters are expecting the Cheerios, Green Giant, Pillsbury, and Progresso distributor to report earnings per share of 77 cents, on revenue of $4.79 billion for the 2015 fiscal second quarter. For the fiscal 2014 second quarter General Mills earnings were 83 cents per share, on revenue of $4.88 billion for the quarter.
