Power Electronics Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will have the following responsibilities Research on power electronics technologies and their applications within the range of some kilowatts to megawatts for applications of aviation including components and procedures Analyse requirements for power electronics from superordinate system demands Develop and evaluate concepts Calculation of schematics and power electronic systems including mechanical and thermal properties Design and building of prototypes Initial operation and comprehensive test of electrically powered circuits and systems in the laboratory. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Electrical or Electronics Expertise in power electronics Very good knowledge of power generation and storage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Full DUT current is sunk into AC source, and 92% of power is regenerated back to utility grid. Adjustable output voltages and frequency, embedded LVRT test windows, and DSP-based controller are standard.
