CenturyLink president of global markets to retire

The News-Star reports that Karen Puckett, CenturyLink's president of global markets, has announced her retirement effective Aug. 31. Puckett joined CenturyLink in 2000 as executive vice president and chief operating officer and was among the executives who have overseen the company's elevation to a Fortune 500 technology company. Ross Garrity, CenturyLink's senior vice president of information technology solutions, has been appointed as the interim leader of global markets.
