ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In the TECQES section, the main tasks are to provide ESA with engineering and administrative support in the field of European Cooperation for Space Standardisation ECSS and European Space Component Coordination ESCC covering ESCC secretariat functions, managing the ESCC specification system, qualifying and certifying components and manufacturers, audits of manufacturers and nonconformance followup. The assignment is to provide expert technical support in one or more of the following fields Passive Components Discrete Semiconductors for RF and nonRF Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal and Microwave Hybrid Technology Micropackaging Optoelectronics Reliability of the related technologies, RD trends and the industrial landscape, SPECIFIC COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS High degree organizational and communication abilities. Requirements MSc or PhD in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related specialisation from a recognised Institution At least 4 years of relevant professional work experience in the field of Passive Components, Discrete Semiconductors for RF and nonRF, Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal and Microwave, Hybrid Technology, Micropackaging, Optoelectronics and MicroNanoSystems proficiency in at least 1 out of the previous 12 categories is required Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively, autonomously and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment, defining and implementing solutions in line with team and individual objectives, as well as project deadlines Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
