I/O Expansion Device suits factory automation applications.

With 32 isolated digital output channels, each able to connect to up to 64 modules, MN-3257 allows I/O of Motionnet system to be expandable to 2,048 output channels. Communication time required by each MN-3257 is 15.1 µs. If 64 modules have been connected, signals for 2,048 points on 64 modules can be sent and received within 0.97 msec. Motionnet I/O devices can be connected with PC and machines to transmit data and support communication speed up to 20 Mbps.

Verizon picks Mesosphere DCOS to enhance data center service scale, automation

Verizon will start using Mesosphere's Datacenter Operating System , a move that it says will enhance data center operations with improvements in automation and scale when deploying applications, services and big data. Based on the open source cluster manager Apache Mesos, Mesosphere DCOS will enable Verizon to accelerate deployment of new products and services for a wide range of products and services including connected devices and machines, video services, Internet services, storage and mobile applications, as well as big data and analytics.

IPC Arranges Visit between congressman, Juki Automation Systems.

As coordinated by IPC, Congressman Mike Honda (D-Silicon Valley) met with executives and employees of Juki Automation Systems at its facility in Fremont, CA. During his visit, Rep. Honda toured said facility and met with staff to discuss current state of the manufacturing industry and such policy issues as federal efforts to develop National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI). Honda was active cosponsor of Revitalize American Manufacturing and Innovation Act, which authorized series of NNMI institutes to be established throughout USA.
