Disney Goes Over the Top: How Does Its Streaming Service Stack Up?

The Walt Disney Corporation officially announced Disney+, its direct-to-consumer streaming service, during its Investor Day webcast last week. The new over-the-top service will become available on Nov. 12 for a $6.99 month subscription. Disney+ will arrive with more than 25 new TV programs, as well as more than 10 new movies. The service will expand to include Disney classics and other IP.

Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Bachelors or Masters in computer science, mathematics or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. You have experience in Web API definition and design in different programming languages Python, Javascript NodeJS. You have experience with libraries and GIS programs for the treatment of satellite images. You have experience in Agile development processes and Git source code control. You have good interpersonal skills, team working, good analytic and problem solving capabilities. The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience in the creation of scalable systems Queues, shared configurations, cache systems, networking. You have experience in Linux systems and cloud computing AWS mainly. You have experience with microservices on Docker Containers, Kubernetes.
