For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for an Editorial Assistant on a part time basis 60. Under the direct responsibility of the Head of the Writing Editing Unit of the Communications Department, based in ESTEC, the successful candidate will provide support to the division as following Oversee the creation and publication of about 15 Conference Proceedings per year, along with conference posters, flyers and programmes if requested. Scan photographs, slides and other material to provide digital copies. Maintain the indexed electronic archive of publications. Maintain the physical archive of publications. Other administrative or organisational tasks, as and when required. ESSENTIAL SKILLS You should bring a Secondary education and professional training in publishing editing or administrative techniques and the following A minimum of 2 years of experience with the above tasks Solid experience in a publishing environment involving both physical and digital products. Excellent command of English, especially written. Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign. An interest in and good understanding of ESA Programmes and related activities.
