(Telecompaper) The percentage of Dutch households without a traditional TV connection is almost at 5 percent, an increase of 50 percent compared to two years ago, according to the Telecompaper's Video Behaviour of Dutch Consumers report for the first quarter. Whereas the number of TV connections is on the down, the number of Videoland and Netflix customers continue to grow. The Dutch watch 28 minutes worth of films and series via such services, every day.

Snapchat use in NL jumped 78% in 2.5 years - Telecompaper

(Telecompaper) The use of Snapchat in the Netherlands has grown rapidly over the past 2.5 years, according to the April edition of Telecompaper's Dutch Apps Market report. In April, Snapchat was installed on nearly 3.5 million Dutch smartphones, a jump of 78 percent in two and a half years.

Dutch broadband market growth slows to 0.1% in Q2 - Telecompaper

(Telecompaper) The Dutch market for fixed broadband internet rose by only 0.1 percent in the second quarter, half of what it grew in the first quarter, according to Telecompaper's Dutch Broadband 2017 Q2 report. The number of connections went to 7.35 million. Cable grew, but less strongly than in Q1. Demand was the exact opposite for fibre. For full-year 2017, the market research agency expects growth to go over 1 percent year-on-year.

85% of Dutch happy with indoor wireless net - Telecompaper

(Telecompaper) Most Dutch people are satisfied with the coverage of their indoor wireless network, according to a Consumer Panel study from Telecompaper, covering the month of April. As many as 85 percent of respondents said they were satisfied or very satisfied, while only 5 percent said they were (very) dissatisfied. The data shows not much change in the recent years.

12% of Dutch have PayPal on their smartphone - Telecompaper

(Telecompaper) The number of smartphone apps used to pay online or via mobile is steadily growing in the Netherlands. That said, use is still limited, according to research by Telecompaper, based on the Consumer Panel. Only the PayPal app has garnered some traction: 12 percent of the Dutch say they have the app for this payment service on their smartphone.
