GEOSS Portal Enhancement Engineer 1615049 Job Description We are looking for a GEOSS Portal Enhancement Engineer to support our client ESRIN in Italy. You will be part of the GEOSS Portal Evolution and DHuS Integration Support team, and your tasks shall include Support the definition of the Operations Concept and User Requirements for an enhanced GEOSS Portal. Support the definition of a incremental highlevel design considering the existing GCI in response to the User Requirements. Support the implementation of developments of the GEOSS Portal with an initial focus on the integration of the DHuS. Participate and contribute to preparation of GEOSS Portal related meetings Contribute to definition GEOSS Portal Operations Concept and user requirements Contribute to definition of GCI complementary architecture in response to user requirements Contribute to implementation of GEOSS Portal evolutions. technical documentation as required, including specifications, acceptance test reports, contributions to project plans, technical reportnotes, requirements to technology activities, etc. Required Skills and Experience University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Information Technology, Software Engineering or any related field Specific knowledge and experience on distributed systems Specific knowledge of the GEOSS and GCI developments Specific knowledge of the DHuS developments Familiarity with the ESA ECSS engineering process and technical reviews Familiarity with EC Programmes H2020 Familiarity with ESA EOPG activities.
