Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) and 4DSP, an innovative company specializing in low power, low weight and compact FPGA-based signal and image processing systems, today announced their collaboration on a new mezzanine card, the FMC667, for mission critical applications. 4DSP’s FMC667 mezzanine card, based on the emerging FMC form factor, includes TI’s KeyStone-based TMS320C6678 multicore digital signal processor (DSP), DRAM memory and peripherals.

We are looking to recruit a Software Engineer for Interplanetary Mission Ground System Support fm for our Darmstadt office in Germany. The position involves working with a team of engineers developing and maintaining SCOS2000 based Satellite Mission Control Systems. Tasks This position is ideal for a person who has a passion for working in the space industry as the successful candidate will join our team supporting the mission control software systems for Rosetta, Mars Express and Venus Express. This means the candidate will play a key role in the team for Rosettas comet rendezvous in 2014 and will be contributing to three of the European Space Agencys most successful and long running interplanetary missions. The tasks of the position include Design, development, testing, installation, support and maintenance of ground data and control software for space missions Participate in our internal research development activities for Ground Data Systems Customer support and interaction with the operators of operational spacecraft.
