For our customer, ESOC in Darmstadt, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Spacecraft Operations Engineer SOE to support their mission operations. You will be primarily assigned to the Mars Exploration Missions Operations Unit OPSOPX within the Solar System Exploration Missions Division but with the possibility of supporting other missions within this division. Responsibilities The general activities to be supported depending on the mission are Tests Preparation and Execution FOP Preparation Mission Phase Definition Mission Phase Execution LEOP, Commissioning, Mars Arrival, Surface operations, etc. Operations Supervision Tools and FOP Maintenance Anomaly Handling Validation and Deployment of Ground Systems updates Management and coordination of internal mission interfaces Mission Planning OnBoard Software Maintenance Support Service Spacecraft Performance Analysis and Reporting This is a fulltime position to be located at ESOCs premises in Darmstadt with the planned start date on 1st May 2021.
